Junior Achievement Worldwide

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. We are in 118 countries around the world and reach over 10 million students per year.

Junior Achievement Northern Alberta

At Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta, we reach over 39,000 students per year and we have plans to expand our reach in the coming years.

This is all possible through a partnership between the business community, educators, and volunteers who work together to inspire young people to reach their dreams and tap into their potential. Our approach allows volunteers to deliver our curriculum-based programs while sharing their own experiences and knowledge. The value is in the ‘real world’ perspective.

Diversity Statement

Junior Achievement is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the communities we serve across six global regions. Junior Achievement Northern Alberta strives to reach students from all socio-economic backgrounds, with a focus on underprivileged, new Canadians and Indigenous communities.  Our programs and curriculum are deliberately adapted to reflect the multiculturalism that exists in our classrooms.

Our commitment extends to digital accessibility and culturally relevant curriculum, ensuring our programs are inclusive and accessible for all.

JA Canada

JA Canada inspires the next generation to realize their potential and make a positive impact in their communities. Through our network of local offices, we collaborate with educators, volunteers, and organizations across Canada to deliver hands-on, immersive, and digital learning experiences to young people. JA commits to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity through programs that help youth build transferable skills in work readiness, financial health, and entrepreneurship. Success starts here.
