2025 Northern Alberta Business Hall of Fame Inductees
Bob MacLean has been a transformative leader in Edmonton’s business community as the Chairman of The Crossing Group, the largest trenchless construction company in Canada installing underground infrastructure. He contributed to shaping the city’s urban landscape through previous ownership in real estate properties, including College Plaza and the Varscona and Mettera hotels. Bob has been active in the Private Equity arena and is an aviation enthusiast who was involved in the Founding of MacKenzie Mountain Helicopters, Airsprint Fractional and RJM Aviation Sales.
Bob’s vision and dedication to community-building extend beyond real estate, as he has actively supported philanthropic initiatives that enhance arts, education, and quality of life in Edmonton through his role as past Board Chair for the former Edmonton Eskimos CFL team, and financial support of campaigns for the U of A, the Edmonton Trappers baseball team and more.
