Dawn Harsch
President, Exquisicare, JA Board Member & New CP Mentor
Dawn Harsch is the founder and President of ExquisiCare Inc. ExquisiCare Inc. is an alternative to institutional care, focused on providing the highest quality of professional and personalized care in a residential environment.
In her role, Dawn is responsible for setting the strategic direction and also oversees all the day to day operations. Dawn earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing in 1996 and followed that with a Master’s in Business Administration in 2002, both from the University of Alberta. Dawn obtained her ICD.D certification through the Rottman School of Business at the University of Toronto in March 2024.
Dawn and her husband Cory are parents to three beautiful children. Dawn was honoured by Avenue Magazine as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2011. In 2013 she was named by Business In Edmonton magazine as one of Edmonton’s Top 20 Future Visionary Business Leaders. She was featured on Global TV as a Woman of Vision in October 2014. ExquisiCare was awarded a Mayors award for design of her Senior Living Homes.
In 2019, Dawn served as the role of Chair of the Board for the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, as part of a 6 year term on the Chamber Board. Dawn founded the SouthWest Edmonton Minor Baseball Association, and was Vice President on that Board for a number of years. Additional NFP Board experience includes a term as President of the Seniors Housing Society of Alberta and MS Cabinet member with the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation. She also volunteers her time with many community and Political organizations. This year, Dawn will be a Mentor with the JA She LEADS program. Dawn believes wholeheartedly, that our greatest tool to building a strong community is through a strong and vibrant business sector —profitable businesses lead to thriving communities.
