Junior Achievement has partnered with several local corporations to deliver programs to 2550 students in grades 7,8 and 9 between April 28th and May 2nd for Financial Literacy Week. Volunteers from Edmonton’s business community will be teaching 82 classes from 14 different schools.
Junior Achievement’s programs teach students skills in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to inspire and prepare our youth to succeed in a global economy.
This year Junior Achievement has the privilege of partnering with seven amazing corporations for Financial Literacy Week: AIMCO, ATCO, CWB, HSBC, RBC, Servus Credit Union, and TD. Each one of these incredible partners has adopted one day during Financial Literacy Week, and has supplied all of the volunteers for the classes on that day. Without the help of these wonderful partners, we would not have been able to impact so many eager young students during this week.

Financial Literacy Week is presented by Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta, and hosted by NAIT JR Shaw School of Business.
