JA Northern Alberta & NWT is pleased to announce Servus Credit Union as our Presenting Sponsor for Financial Literacy Month.
“Servus Credit Union has been a wonderful partner to JA for many years and we are thrilled to be continuing this partnership once again during Financial Literacy Month,” said Jen Panteluk, President & CEO, JA Northern Alberta & NWT. “With a focus on financial stability for their members in all stages of life, it was a perfect fit to have Servus as our Presenting Sponsor to prepare our youth for what lies ahead.”
Through this partnership, Servus Credit Union will financially support the delivery of over 90 JA programs to more than 2,000 students in November.
“Improving the financial well-being of Albertans will always be the primary focus of our credit union,” said Gail Stepanik-Keber, Chief Brand & Corporate Social Responsibility Officer, Servus Credit Union. “So we are very proud to be partnered with an organization who supports that in everything they do.”
By providing free, financial literacy programs and mentorship, JA plays a critical role in developing the money management skills of young people across the nation. Our programs, including Economics for Success and Dollars with Sense, make a positive impact on today’s youth by putting financial literacy concepts into practice in a way that connects basic economics to life events and personal aspirations.
This November marks the sixth annual Financial Literacy Month in Canada, which highlights the importance of financial literacy in today’s economy.
