Be Entrepreneurial

The “Be Entrepreneurial” program teaches that owning an entrepreneurial venture can start in high school. All it takes is recognizing the talent and practices used by successful entrepreneurs and role models. Encouraging the next generation to think about being their own boss and running a venture is easy when all the tools and information are being taught by industry leaders.

Inspiring Students to Become Canada’s Next Entrepreneurs

It takes one idea to start a company, and identifying your competitive advantage doesn’t hurt either. Preparing for the unexpected, knowing how to overcome adversity and the basics of finance, marketing and management allow tomorrows leaders to begin planning their companies now. This will inspire them to ask, “Do I have what it takes to become an entrepreneur?”

Building a dream

 

During this interactive, in-class program, students will:

  • Learn what it means to think like an entrepreneur and why business ideas succeed or fail
  • Explore the process of developing a product or service and identifying a target market
  • Discover how to create a business plan and pitch an idea with confidence
  • Understand the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship and how to navigate them
  • Engage in collaborative activities that build creative problem-solving and communication skills
