Bryan Kwan is a partner and lawyer at McLennan Ross LLP, specializing in commercial litigation and business immigration. Bryan was born and raised in Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta, where he obtained degrees in law and computing science. Bryan’s journey with Junior Achievement began as a student in the Company Program, where he discovered a passion for business and leadership. He reconnected with JA when he joined the Human Resources & Governance Committee in 2018 and then the Board of Directors in 2020. As the incoming Chair of the Board, Bryan is excited to build on Junior Achievement’s strong reputation for promoting financial literacy to students in Northern Alberta.

Shad Smereka started at Fountain Tire in 1997 in the marketing department after finishing his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta. Over his career, he has had leadership roles in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Safety, Learning & Development, Information Technology and Payroll. Adding the leadership of Marketing to his portfolio, he was promoted to Vice President of People and Customer Experience in 2021. Shad sat on the board for Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta and is an active volunteer within the program.

Jessica Culo launched Express Employment Professionals, a recruitment firm specializing in temporary and permanent placement of administrative, commercial, and skilled trades candidates. In 2011, she founded Specialized Recruiting Group, focusing on the recruitment and placement of senior-level professionals throughout Canada. She is currently the President and Owner of both companies. In addition to her recruitment firms, Jessica operates a real estate investment company and sits on several boards.

As Chief Financial Officer of Servis Realty Inc., Milka Vujanic exemplifies strategic financial leadership and operational excellence. With extensive experience across real estate, oil and gas, construction, and service sectors, she has honed her expertise in financial strategy and operational efficiency, driving sustainable growth and asset optimization. A CPA, CGA Designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, and a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration in Accounting from Grant MacEwan University highlight her academic foundation and comprehensive approach. Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Milka is deeply invested in community service, championing financial literacy and entrepreneurship through Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta. Her passion for financial empowerment, combined with a proactive dedication to client success, positions Milka as a dynamic leader committed to fostering positive impact in both business and community spheres. Under her guidance, Servis Realty continues to excel in delivering strategic financial goals and building lasting client relationships.

Dawn Harsch is the founder and President of ExquisiCare Inc. ExquisiCare Inc. is an alternative to institutional care, focused on providing the highest quality of professional and personalized care in a residential environment. Dawn was honoured by Avenue Magazine as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2011. In 2013 she was named by Business In Edmonton magazine as one of Edmonton's Top 20 Future Visionary Business Leaders. She was featured on Global TV as a Woman of Vision in October 2014. ExquisiCare was awarded a Mayor’s award for the design of her Senior Living Homes. Dawn served as the role of Chair of the Board for the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, founded the SouthWest Edmonton Minor Baseball Association, and was later Vice President of the Board. Additional NFP Board experience includes a term as President of the Seniors Housing Society of Alberta and MS Cabinet member with the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation.
