How you make a difference

Empowering future generations

Providing youth with financial literacy education helps break cycles of generational poverty, equipping them with the tools to build sustainable financial habits.

Reducing Financial Stress

Educated youth foster financially stable families and communities, decreasing reliance on social welfare programs and increasing overall well-being.

Driving Local Economic Growth

Financially literate individuals are more likely to invest in local businesses, fueling a vibrant and thriving community economy.

Promoting Equity

JA’s programs bridge critical gaps for underserved youth, ensuring free access to knowledge and opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach due to socioeconomic barriers.

All donations over $25 receive a tax receipt

Thanks to our generous donors and sponsors, JA’s life-changing financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness programs are delivered free of charge to Northern Alberta students in grades  3–12.  Charitable donations receive a federal and a provincial charitable tax credit, with an increasing return on larger gifts.
